In this module you will learn more about this course, how self-hosting WordPress gives you control and up to 20x better performance at a similar price. We'll briefly cover what a production-ready WordPress server looks like, and set some goals for this course.

You'll learn why we chose Cloudflare for DNS and content delivery, and prepare a domain for later use. You'll also create a configuration repo skeleton and end with a launch-day checklist.
